Foreign Residents Network

The Foreign Residents Network Committee was dissolved in March, 2012 due to the end of the agreement with Kashiwa City. The committee was organized in 2005 to do commissioned projects from the city. Project objectives were to establish an emergency communication network among foreign residents and public bodies, and to exchange other relevant information among foreign and Japanese residents. The city will do the project independently of KIRA from the 2012 FY. KIRA will continue to hold exchange meetings with foreign residents.
