Host Family
 

KIRA oversees Kashiwa City’s sister & friendship cities’ home stay (overnight) and home visit (non-overnight) programs. Kashiwa families can register with KIRA as volunteers to host visitors. If you are interested, please join us!

Registration Requirements
 
Home Stay Families
* Live in/near Kashiwa, and current member of KIRA (students not accepted)
* Can accept visitors for a certain period that KIRA requests.
* Can cover the expenses of visitors (such as meals) during their stay.
* Can take and pick up visitors to/from places KIRA requests.
         
Home Visit Families
* Live in or near Kashiwa, and are members of KIRA (students not accepted)
* Can pay the expenses for the visit.
* Can take and pick up visitors to/from places KIRA requests.
* Have someone in the family who can speak the visitor’s language (daily conversation level)
         
    
Registration Application
 

Fill out the application form of “home stay” and/or “home visit”. Bring it to the KIRA office, where we will explain about the registration system.

Bring to: KIRA Office (Kashiwa-shi, Asahi-cho 1-4-18, Goto Building 3F)
